Alutila Cave

Alutila Cave, locally known as Matai Hakor, is a mysterious natural formation located within a lush, green hill in Khagrachari. The cave is approximately 100 meters long and offers a thrilling subterranean experience. As you descend the stone staircase into the ravine, the temperature drops and the air becomes damp. To navigate the dark passage, visitors must carry a flaming bamboo torch, which casts dancing shadows against the slick, ancient stone walls. The floor is covered by a shallow, cool stream of water, providing a sensory experience as you trek from one end of the hill to the other.

Surrounding the cave is a well-maintained park that offers breathtaking panoramic views of Khagrachari town and the winding Chengi River valley.
