History & context
Established in 2011, Dream Holiday Park was developed to provide a modern recreational facility for the residents of Narsingdi and the greater Dhaka region. Located in the Panchdona area of Narsingdi district, the park occupies a region traditionally known for its textile industry and agricultural fertility.
While the park itself is a contemporary commercial development, it sits within a district of significant historical weight, near the ancient archaeological site of Wari-Bateshwar. The park's growth reflects the increasing demand for structured leisure spaces in Bangladesh's rapidly developing suburban corridors. It has since expanded its facilities to include a resort, catering to the growing trend of staycations among the middle class.
Getting there
From Dhaka, take a bus heading toward Narsingdi or Sylhet from the Sayedabad or Mohakhali bus terminals. Ask to be dropped off at the Panchdona intersection in Narsingdi. The park is located directly on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway, making it easily accessible by private car or microbus in approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
