Overview

Getting there
The most common route is to take a direct launch (ferry) from Sadarghat Launch Terminal in Dhaka. The journey typically starts in the evening and takes approximately 12 to 14 hours to reach Monpura. Alternatively, one can travel to Bhola or Barishal by water and then take a local engine boat or speed boat to the island, though the direct launch is more comfortable.
