Nilphamari Tea Garden

The tea gardens of Nilphamari, particularly around Kishoreganj and the Tista barrage area, offer a serene escape into the lush green landscapes of Northern Bangladesh. Unlike the hilly estates of Sylhet, these gardens are characterized by their vast, level plains where neatly manicured tea bushes stretch toward the horizon. The atmosphere is quiet and refreshing, providing a distinct contrast to the more crowded tourist hubs. Walking through the narrow paths between the shrubs, visitors can witness the meticulous work of local pickers and enjoy the earthy fragrance of fresh leaves.

Beyond the foliage, the region is punctuated by patches of natural forest and irrigation canals that support the local agriculture.
